The benefits of Full Arch Rehabilitation

Immediately functional after one appointment

You will be able to enjoy the benefits of your new teeth after just one session with Dr. Loukas.

Appear and function like your natural teeth

They are incredibly discreet and once healed, are no different to your natural teeth.

Preserve the bone structure of your jaw

Missing teeth can cause your jawbone to shrink. The titanium screws are placed into the jawbone to replace single or multiple teeth, keeping your jaw strong.

More comfortable and practical than dentures

Dentures are impractical and often cause embarrassment. As this is a fixed solution, you won’t have to worry about ‘putting your teeth in’ again.

What your treatment entails

  1. 1
Extensive planning prior to your treatment
The majority of the work goes into the planning stages of your treatment, to ensure the procedure of the actual chair-side surgery is relatively quick and straightforward. Dr Loukas has his own laboratory where he works closely with technicians using superior ceramics and composite materials.
  2. 2
Local anaesthesia to assist your experience
During the short surgical process, you will typically be under a local anaesthetic. This means you should feel very little to no discomfort.
  3. 3
    3 – 6 months healing process
Depending on our evaluation, you could leave with a temporary set of teeth whilst you are healing (which will take 3 – 6 months). Dr. Zeck will put the final restoration in once all your bones and gums are healed and stable – to give you the best possible outcome.
  4. 4
    Your natural smile restored
Enjoy your brand new smile with ease and confidence.

Frequently asked questions

  1. 1
    Is full arch replacement expensive?
A full arch treatment represents a great investment in your long-term smile, your quality of life and your overall health. The initial cost may seem expensive, but in the long-term, it truly is a cost-effective way of maintaining a healthy smile for life.

If you are having any concerns about the initial cost, we provide several 0%, low-interest payment plans that allow you to spread the cost of treatment over several months or years.

Why not book yourself a consultation with one of the team at The Barn Dental Clinic? We will give you a custom quote based on your exact needs based on your clinical situation.
  2. 2
    Does this procedure hurt?
Typically, you are under a local anaesthetic but we also have at our disposal the option for sedative medication or dental sedation for nervous or anxious patients. Either way, patients should feel very little or no discomfort during the short surgical process.
  3. 3
Do I need time off work?
You may want to have 24/48hrs of rest after the procedure. Many of our patients do go back to work the next day and may take a painkiller/anti-inflammatory medication.
  4. 4
How long does it take? Will I be without teeth?
The procedure will take approximately 4 hours. You will go home with a temporary set of teeth up to 24 hours after surgery, these will remain in situ until you are fully healed. This can be between 3-6 months. Dr Loukas takes great pride in his work and will only put the final restoration in once all your bones and gums are healed and stable.
  5. 5
    Are they fixed teeth?
Yes, your teeth are fixed, they are attached to the implants by small screws.
  6. 6
How do I keep them clean?
We will go through with you how to clean and maintain your new teeth. You will also be required for your warranty to see a hygienist 2 times a year.
  7. 7
What’s the difference between Acrylic/Composite and Porcelain Bridge and the benefits?
The overall aesthetic appearance will be higher on a porcelain bridge. Acrylic and composite bridges do have a tendency to wear and may need replacing.
  8. 8
What foods should I eat when taking antibiotics?
Although a fantastic therapy, antibiotics kill off a lot of the good bacteria in your stomach, so it’s always a good idea to help replace them. There are certain foods that can help encourage your healing:

    – Kefir is a great yoghurt to help with your gut, with a big selection that has both the probiotics and the prebiotics necessary.
    – Onions, asparagus, bananas, apples are great for your prebiotics
    – Any pickled beets or onions for your probiotics
